Sean Kingston briefly kidnapped over jewelry dispute - report

Singer Sean Kingston has accused a jeweller of kidnapping him in a dispute over a watch.

The Beautiful Girls star claims he purchased a $225,000 watch from a Los Angeles jeweller, but stopped making payments at $185,000 because he felt the piece was not worth the full asking price.

According to TMZ.com, Kingston met with the unidentified associate in a Los Angeles parking lot in the middle of the night on Tuesday (17Nov15) and agreed to give the watch back, as long as he received another piece worth $185,000 in exchange.

However, Kingston alleges the jeweller snatched the timepiece from him as soon as he entered the vehicle. An argument ensued and he refused to get out of the car, reportedly prompting the jeweller to lock the doors and drive him to a secluded location, where he claims he was then thrown out.

Kingston has reported the bizarre incident to Los Angeles police, who are currently investigating the case, according to TMZ.com.
