Ryan Reynolds accepts Wonder Woman is stronger than Deadpool - at the box office

Ryan Reynolds couldn't be happier the U.S. box office success of Wonder Woman has outpaced his Deadpool movie.

The DC Comics blockbuster, starring Gal Gadot as the titular superheroine, has passed the $363 million his film grossed last year (16), and gracious Ryan has taken to Instagram to congratulate the fictional Amazonian princess.

Next to a photo of himself dressed as his talkative mercenary character, nicknamed the Merc with a Mouth, he writes: The Merc may be filthier, but her B.O. (box office) is stronger. Congrats #WonderWoman."

Wonder Woman's current domestic total in North America stands at $368.4 million, while it has grossed $747.5 million globally to date.
