Reese Witherspoon injures finger

Reese Witherspoon's health woes are continuing - she's nursing an injured finger just weeks after she was hospitalised following a car accident.

The Legally Blonde star was first hurt in May (11) when she twisted her ankle and was spotted hobbling around Hollywood in a foot cast.

Witherspoon's problems escalated in September (11) when she was out jogging in Santa Monica and was hit by a car driven by an elderly woman.

The actress was hospitalised and left with a black eye and a deep gash on her forehead following the accident - and now she has hurt her finger.

Witherspoon was photographed in Brentwood, California on Monday (28Nov11) with a splint attached to the little finger on her left hand, and editors at Britain's Daily Mail report she has broken the digit.
