Troubled reality TV star Jenelle Evans has been arrested for assault and possession of heroin.
Brunswick County police officers in North Carolina were called to the Teen Mom 2 star's home on Tuesday (23Apr13) following a report suggesting she and her estranged husband Courtland Rogers were fighting. Rogers accused Evans of hitting him with a piece of furniture during the altercation.
Police officers found 12 bindles of heroin and the prescription painkiller Percocet and took Evans into custody, according to TMZ.com.
Evans is now facing five different criminal charges, including possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute, simple assault, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Evans was also served with an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support for her three-year-old son Jace.
In March (13), Evans entered a rehab facility but left the 30-day-program earlier than scheduled.
