Rashida Jones considers fan's proposal
Actress Rashida Jones received an unexpected marriage proposal from a college student while on the political trail for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.
The I Love You, Man star - the daughter of legendary music producer Quincy Jones - was in Iowa rallying votes for the Democratic leader earlier this year (12) when a male fan dropped down to one knee and popped the question to her.
Single Jones was even presented with a ring to seal the deal and
although she didn't say yes, she didn't exactly reject the
devotee's proposal either.
She says, "I said maybe, let me think about it... I didn't wanna
say no. He had a really cute ring, he wanted to give it to me but I
didn't want to take his ring... 'Let me think about it, let me get
back to you.' I think his name's Chris? He goes to the University
of Iowa. I'm thinking about it, I'm taking my time!"
The actress, who was previously engaged to British producer Mark
Ronson, jokingly adds, "I feel like he'll find me again if it's
meant to be."
