Rafe Spall cast as Rachel Weisz's lover in Broadway's Betrayal

Rachel Weisz will cheat on her real-life husband Daniel Craig with actor Rafe Spall - the One Day star has been cast as the 'other man' in a forthcoming Broadway production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal.

The Mummy beauty and 007 hunk Craig, who wed in 2011, have signed on to portray a married couple in the project, about a publisher whose wife has an affair with his literary-agent friend, and Spall has now been added as the other male lead.

He is in final negotiations for the role, while Weisz and Craig's contracts have now been finalized, reports Britain's Daily Mail.

Mike Nichols has been tapped to direct, while Scott Rudin will produce the show, which is due to open at New York's Barrymore Theater in October (13).

An official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
