Hip-hop hitmaker Pharrell Williams will take center stage at the music industry's biggest trade show in France later this month (Jan10).

Williams, one half of superproducers The Neptunes and singer/rapper for N.E.R.D., has been unveiled as the keynote speaker for the 2010 Midem conference in Cannes.

The star will address industry executives on 23 January (10) when he discusses the impact of modern technology and the future of music at the annual event.
