Paul Walker's final film set for April release
Tragic actor Paul Walker's final completed film Brick Mansions has landed a release date in April (14).
The English-language remake of French action movie District B13 was scheduled to hit cinemas this month (Feb14), but it was pulled from studio Relativity's diary following Walker's death in a car crash in November (13).
In the film, which also stars rapper-turned-actor RZA, the late
Walker plays an undercover police officer trying to disarm a
bomb.
As a mark of respect to the action star, Relativity bosses have
opted not to have a premiere for Brick Mansions and they will
donate the money they would have spent on a red carpet launch party
to Walker's Reach Out Worldwide charity.
Walker was working on the seventh instalment of the Fast and
Furious franchise at the time of his death; he had only half
completed his scenes.
