Paris Hilton has been given a temporary reprieve - the producers of 2006 film flop Pledge This have been given until 26 August (09) to prove the socialite owes them cash.

The bosses of Worldwide Entertainment Group sued Paris Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment, for breach of contract, claiming she failed to properly promote the film.And they wanted Paris Hilton to pay back the $1 million she was paid.During a two-day trial in Miami, Florida, HParis ilton testified she did her best to promote the movie, and District Judge Federico Moreno agreed, stating the movie was hardly destined for critical acclaim.He added, Any causal connection between Ms. Hilton's alleged breaches and the financial ruin of the film are wholly speculative.A receiver representing the producers have been given until 26 August (09) to submit arguments that Paris Hilton should pay back parts of her $1 million fee.
