Paris Hilton is going head-to-head with her best friend Nicole Richie and former party pal Britney Spears in a celebrity pet awards show - and she's determined to see her pooch Tinkerbell crowned top dog.

The socialite is regularly seen with her Chihuahua by her side, and she was elated to learn the dog had been nominated in the Boomerang Pet Personality Awards, set to take place in Britain next month (Sep09).Hilton has even begged her followers on microblogging site Twitter.com to vote for her and Tinkerbell in a bid to land the trophy.She writes, Hey guys can u (sic) support me and Tink and vote us for this adorable award show?The Simple Life star is fighting off tough competition from Richie's dog Foxxy Cleopatra and Spears' mutt Bit Bit, as well as President Barack Obama's pooch Bo.
