Oprah Winfrey is determined to conquer the acting world by fulfilling her dream of performing on Broadway.
The media mogul wound down her hugely successful talk show in 2011 after 25 years on the air, and subsequently launched her OWN network.
She has returned to drama, and is tackling a racy role in upcoming political biopic The Butler - her first big screen part since 1998's Beloved.
And now Winfrey - who was nominated for an Oscar for her debut in 1985's The Color Purple - is eyeing a stint on the stage in the world's most famous theater district.
She tells TV show Good Morning America, "My dream is to do Broadway. That is going to happen."
