Obsessed Kylie Jenner fan recaptured

An overzealous Kylie Jenner fan has been placed on a 72-hour lockdown after escaping from a psychiatric hospital ward in Los Angeles.

Kim Kardashian's half-sister suffered a security scare at her home on Christmas Eve (24Dec15) when a man showed up at her security gate and attempted to force his way in.

The male, whose identity has not been released, had reportedly appeared at the 18-year-old's home on at least 10 separate occasions prior to Thursday's incident, when he was taken into custody and placed under doctors' care.

However, he managed to break out of the facility over the weekend (26-27Dec15), before Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies were able to locate him and place him on another 72-hour psychiatric hold, according to TMZ.com.

Sources tell the website the man believes he and the reality TV regular are "soulmates".
