NELLY CREATES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ST LOUIS STUDENTS

Nelly unveiled a new scholarship programme at his star-studded Black and White Ball in St Louis, Missouri on Sunday (06Dec09).

The Ride Wit Me hitmaker was joined onstage by R+B star Mario, while stars including Jermaine Dupri and The Isley Brothers turned out for the 4th annual event.

During the show Nelly announced he is sponsoring two students from the St. Louis area to receive a four-year scholarship at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.

And he used the ball as an opportunity to appeal for cash to boost the campaign, urging his guests to donate generously to the scholarship fund.
