Nathan Followill prefers tennis to Glastonbury

Kings Of Leon rocker Nathan Followill is shunning Britain's Glastonbury festival in favor of watching tennis at Wimbledon.

The iconic music festival takes place this weekend (24-26Jun11) and coincides with the halfway stage of the famous tennis championships in south London.

Drummer Followill is avoiding the muddy, rain-soaked rock event so he can watch the sporting spectacular instead.

On Friday (24Jun11) he took to his Twitter.com blog to tell fans, "Good morning. (I'm) Wimbledon bound and hoping 4 (for) sunshine. I don't think being a King of Leon allows me 2 (to) sit in the Royal box but I'm gonna try."

The Sex on Fire hitmakers are in the U.K. to play a show in Edinburgh, Scotland on Sunday (26Jun11) following their two concerts at London's Hyde Park earlier this week (beg20Jun11).
