Natalie Portman will struggle to leave L.A. behind
Natalie Portman will find it hard to relocate to Paris, France with her husband Benjamin Millepied next year (14), because she loves everything about living in Los Angeles.
The Black Swan star admits she treasures the years she has spent in Tinseltown and she always looks forward to discovering new arts around town.
She tells Marie Claire magazine, "I just really, really love it
here. It's one of the most exciting places to be in the world right
now. It's really central in terms of the arts. It feels like things
are happening in L.A., you know? New York is more where art is
bought than where art is made..."
However, Portman will have to leave her adopted home behind when
she moves to the French capital, where Millepied has accepted a job
with the Paris Opera Ballet, and she reveals the news took her by
surprise.
She says, "When Ben asked me if I wanted to go to Paris, I freaked.
Everyone dreams of living in Paris."
The couple wed in August, 2012, three months after welcoming their
son, Alef.
