Mark Wahlberg eyes clothing line

Actor Mark Wahlberg is expanding his business empire by planning a clothing range and a fitness venture to help fans get healthy.

The Departed star and his brothers Donnie and Paul recently announced plans to open a burger diner - called Wahlburgers - in their native Boston, Massachusetts, as well as a pizza restaurant.

But Wahlberg also hopes to encourage a well-balanced lifestyle with an emphasis on diet and exercise by launching a "wellness business" - and he's even eyeing his own fashion line.

He says, "We are interested at some point or another doing our own clothing line in the future. As well as a health and wellness business that will help people first and foremost feel good, exercise, eat right and then look good...

"Eighty-five per cent of the population doesn't exercise and eat right, and you want to be able to push them in the direction of extending their lifespan and living healthy lives."
