LOPEZ COMPLETED TRIATHLON FOR BABY TWINS

Jennifer Lopez signed up to compete in a triathlon in a bid to prove her athleticism - and to make her baby twins proud.
The singer/actress stunned fans after running, swimming and cycling her way through the endurance race in Malibu, California in September 2008 - just six months after giving birth to her twins, Max and Emme, her first children with husband Marc Anthony.
And she admits being pregnant for the first time inspired her to take part in the gruelling event.
She explains, "I made the decision when I was eight months pregnant to do the triathlon after I had the babies. I wanted to know I was the same person as before I had them. I wanted to be that person more than ever for my babies. I wanted them to be proud of me. I wanted them to think, 'I've got a special mom. She was amazing, look what she did!' I didn't want to lose my ambition and drive to do amazing things."
And Lopez insists she has adopted a more relaxed attitude towards fitness since becoming a mom, adding, "I don't get too crazy (about exercise) any more. There was a time when I really worked out, but I was never manic about it. I did what I could. I've got good genes. But I care less now."
