Little Mix are celebrating after learning they've grabbed the prestigious Best Live Act prize at the Silver Clef Awards.

The girl group beat off competition from Beyonce, and Coldplay to claim the fan vote and take home the trophy, which will be presented at a ceremony on Friday (30Jun17).

They become the first female group in history to win the award, joining the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and One Direction.

"We can’t thank our fans enough for awarding us with the best live act," the girls said in a statement released on Thursday (29Jun17). "To win in such company as these nominees, and be the first female act to take home the award is an incredibly proud moment for us... We really are so honored to receive this award."

The big win comes just four months after Little Mix picked up the coveted Best British Single honor at the Brit Awards in February (17).

Other winners who will be saluted at the Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity's prizegiving include Dame Shirley Bassey, who has been named the recipient of the O2 Silver Clef Award, Nile Rodgers, who will pick up the International Award, and Blondie, who will take home the Outstanding Achievement award.

Phil Collins, Emeli Sande, and Mumford and Sons will also be recognized for touching people through their music.
