One Direction stars Liam Payne and Niall Horan enjoyed a reunion day in California on Saturday (13May17) when the new dad showed up at the Wango Tango Music Festival to support his bandmate.

The boy band stars were also spotted attending a mutual pal’s birthday party at The Peppermint Club on Saturday night in West Hollywood.

Horan was promoting his second single, Slow Hands, at Wango Tango, while Liam is preparing to release his debut, Strip That Down.

Other highlights of the festival included sets from Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus.

Katy donned a neon-yellow, sequined Adam Selman dress and body suit for her appearance, which featured her new track Bon Appetit.

Miley also showed off her new song, the catchy Malibu, and told the crowd she has become a much more mature artist in the past two years, during which she reconciled with former fiance Liam Hemsworth.

"I never would've believed you if three years ago you told me I'd be here writing this song." she said as she tore into her latest track. "I never would believe that I would be here surrounded by all of you loving people. I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart because I really do feel like this is a dream come true."

She also covered her godmother Dolly Parton's song Jolene.

Earlier in the day Miley's sister Noah Cyrus performed and ended her set by joining her sibling onstage as they presented their mom Trish with a birthday cake.

Hailee Steinfeld was also big hit at the 102.7 KIIS pop festival at the StubHub Center in Carson, performing her latest single, Most Girls, and joining Machine Gun Kelly onstage during his set for a performance of their duet At My Best, despite experiencing sound issues at the top of her set.

"Thanks for bearing with me tonight LA. Next time I’m pulling an Adele,” she tweeted after the gig. “When the sound cuts out right at the top of your set and your just like ‘IT AINT MY FAULT’ #WangoTango."
