Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill spent a day shadowing real life bankers this week (beg20Aug12) to prepare for their roles in upcoming movie The Wolf Of Wall Street.
The Titanic star has re-teamed with his Gangs of New York director Martin Scorsese for a fifth collaboration with the big screen adaptation of businessman Jordan Belfort's memoir, which chronicles his life in banking and his stint behind bars for money laundering.
Filming will begin in New York City this weekend (25-26Aug12) and
DiCaprio has been preparing for the lead role by spending time at
the Manhattan headquarters of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
The Hollywood actor spent Tuesday morning (21Aug12) shadowing bank
employees at the One Bryant Park building, spending most of his
time on the stock-trading floor, according to the New York Daily
News.
DiCaprio's co-star Hill, who plays the main character's best friend
and business partner, also went to the office and shadowed a
"lower-level, yet successful derivative sales associate".
The publication reports they were both due back at the building on
Wednesday (22Aug12).
