KNIGHT HAD NO GUN IN POLICE SEARCH - REPORT

A representative for Marion 'Suge' Knight has dismissed reports the rap mogul was in possession of a gun when he was arrested on Thursday (20May10).

The Death Row Records founder was apprehended after cops were tipped off about a man reportedly pointing a firearm at another car from his Cadillac Escalade during a confrontation at a Los Angeles gas station.

Officers initiated a "high-risk stop", drawing their weapons and ordering Knight and his two female companions out of the sports utility vehicle.

He was said to have been taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon and driving with a suspended license - but surveillance footage filmed at the location does not show Knight holding a firearm, according to TMZ.com.

The star's spokesperson claims the incident began when "some guy walked up to the (car) window and started talking to the women in the car disrespectfully".

The rep adds, "This made Suge mad so he left the gas station. He never got out of the car and he never had any gun on him."
