Kelsea Ballerini's white gown is the only 'traditional' part of her wedding

Kelsea Ballerini is planning to wear a "long, white dress" for her upcoming nuptials, but admits that will be the only traditional part of the wedding.

The 23-year-old singer is set to wed fiance Morgan Evans later this year (17), and is in the midst of planning the big day. But when it comes to the style of her ceremony, Kelsea isn't planning to stick to the rule book.

"The whole wedding will be pretty untraditional so I think that having a long, white dress is the only traditional part we will have," she told E! News.

However, despite her determination that she will be wearing white to walk down the aisle, Kelsea has yet to settle on a gown. But it's not that she can't find a dress - in fact, she's struggling to narrow down her top choices.

"I always grew up thinking about my Grammys dress or my award show dress... not a wedding dress," she said. "I am excited; I've seen a few that I love so I'm sure we'll get that one that will be awesome."

Kelsea added that she and Morgan have settled on a date and location for their big day, with the country star hinting: "It's something to look forward to at the end of the year!"

She won't be getting married in the country capital of Nashville though, choosing a different spot to say their vows. And while they are planning to have a karaoke machine at the wedding reception, there is one rule the star isn't going to budge on.

"(The karaoke is) only for the people that aren't in the music industry. You can't be good at karaoke; it's not allowed," she laughed.

Other rules set by Kelsea and Morgan include not inviting exes and a ban on wedding crashers. They are planning an open bar on the big day, but the Stilettos singer refused to divulge whether or not she will be letting loose.

"I don't know. I'm sure the pictures will say a lot," she giggled.
