Katherine Heigl invests in flash apartments

Katherine Heigl can add real estate boss to her resume - she has joined forces with her mother to purchase a number of luxury apartments in Los Angeles.

The Knocked Up star and her mum Nancy have each put up $850,000 to buy a total of eight top condominiums in Sherman Oaks, California.

Each unit features hardwood flooring, granite kitchen counters, balconies and fireplaces, reports TMZ.com.
