Former Doctor Who star Karen Gillan shocked fans at Comic-Con on Saturday (20Jul13) by showing off her shaved head.
The British actress has chopped off her long, red locks for a villainous role in new movie Guardians Of the Galaxy, but she fooled fans at the convention in San Diego, California on Friday (19Jul13) by turning out wearing a wig.
However, she unveiled her striking new look for a panel discussion
promoting the film on Saturday (20Jul13).
When asked about her new look, she told the audience, "It's
liberating. I think everyone here should shave their heads."
