Kanye West keen to work with Taylor Swift
Kanye West and Taylor Swift are putting their 2009 MTV Video Music Awards spat behind them to work on new music together.
The rapper infamously invaded the stage at the prizegiving six years ago to protest Swift's Best Female Video win over his pal Beyonce.
He later apologised for ruining the Love Story singer's first MTV
VMAs win, but she took some time to fully forgive him.
Now it seems any animosity between the two hitmakers has been
forgotten, just days after West hit the stage at the Grammys on
Sunday (09Feb15) to protest Beck's Album of the Year win.
The rap star tells DJ Ryan Seacrest, "She wants to get in the
studio and we're definitely going to go in. Any artist with an
amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in
the studio and work. I don't discriminate, I don't have an elitism
of music because of, like, how many Grammys or the amount of
ratings you get on an album.
"I that think everyone loves music, whether they love hip-hop,
alternative, country, and if I could be involved in giving people
any type of energy, advice in the studio, whether you're Beyonce,
whether you're Taylor Swift, whether you're Jay Z, whether you're
Beck, whoever, and they can be reciprocal with that, I'd like to be
involved with that."
