Justin Bieber's shoes up for auction

Singing sensation Justin Bieber is helping raise money for his former high school by donating a pair of shoes to be sold on auction website eBay.com.
The Baby hitmaker has given the autographed purple Nikes to Stratford Northwestern Secondary School in Ontario, Canada, where he was a pupil before finding fame.
The right shoe went online on Monday (01Mar11) in honor of the star's 17th birthday and has already attracted a high bid of $650. The other shoe will be auctioned at a later date.
Proceeds from Bieber's kicks, which are described as worn and scuffed, will be used to build a new broadcasting and communications studio at the school.
The footwear is sure to be a hot item - a lock of the star's hair sold for a staggering $40,668 and a space suit Bieber wore for a TV commercial fetched $5,800 at auction earlier this month (Mar11).
