Justin Bieber concert takings stolen

Justin Bieber's Mother's Day concert in South Africa on Sunday (12May13) ended on a sour note after crooks broke into a safe at Johannesburg's FNB Stadium and made off with over $108,000 in ticket takings.

The gang of thieves reportedly broke into a strongroom and took cash from Bieber's show and a Bon Jovi gig on Saturday (11May13).

South African police spokeswoman Katlego Mogale tells the BBC, "We don't know how many people were involved as we are still gathering evidence.

"The suspect had gained entry through the roof."

During his show earlier on Sunday, Bieber invited his mom Pattie Mallette to join him onstage and dedicated hit track One Less Lonely Girl to her.
