Justin Bieber almost missed out on Let Me Love You

Justin Bieber almost missed out on recording the vocals to Dj Snake's megahit Let Me Love You because he kept the dance music star waiting.

The Frenchman, real name William Grigahcine, admits Bieber wasn't his first choice for the song, but he agreed to work with the Baby singer because he was such a fan of the beat.

"He heard the beat and the hook and was like, 'I wanna do it'," the DJ tells the Hot Ones podcast, revealing he almost scrapped the idea and released his original version when it looked like Bieber wasn't going to hit his deadline.

"Two days before I finished the album - I had all the recordings - and he sent the vocals... It was super, super last minute. I was like, 'Yes!'"

DJ Snake performed the track as part of his headlining Coachella festival set in California on Saturday night (22Apr17), but Bieber was a no show. The electronic dance music star flashed up the lyrics as absent Bieber's vocals floated over the crowd.
