Jessie J slams fur fans
Jessie J has taken aim at fur-wearing women, branding animal pelts cruel and a fashion faux pas.
The Price Tag hitmaker is mortified by the rising number of fur items on the high street, and her online rant has attracted the attention of animal rights campaigners who are now trying to sign her up as an ambassador for the cause.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Ugh seeing so many
people wearing real fur. Nothanks winterwardrobenono's."
A fan then suggested she should peel off as part of People for the
Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) famous "I'd Rather Go
Naked..." campaign, and bosses of the organization are now eyeing a
deal with the singer.
After 're-tweeting' Jessie J's message, a representative for PETA
U.K. told the singer, "We (love) that you're fabulously fur-free!
Future PETA star?"
