Jessica Chastain keen to start celebrity ukelele supergroup

Jessica Chastain has dreams of hitting the pop charts as a member of a ukelele-playing supergroup.

The Help actress loves playing the instrument and she's keen to team up with fellow uke-allies Eddie Vedder and Ryan Gosling and banjo aficionado Steve Martin for an album of reworked indie hits.

She tells WENN, "I should get together with Steve Martin and Ryan Gosling, the three of us - and Eddie Vedder has a ukulele album. I like it.

"I play Yoshima Battles the Pink Robots - The Flaming Lips song - on the ukulele, and I like Radiohead's Creep on the ukulele. It's beautiful because that song is so dark and sad... but on the ukulele it's so sweet."
