Jessica Alba in legal battle over lifestyle company

Actress Jessica Alba is heading to court to defend her lifestyle brand The Honest Company after bosses of a cosmetic firm suggested the name is too similar to one of their products.

The Honey star's firm received a cease and desist letter from lawyers representing Cosmedicine, claiming the name of Alba's company is too similar to their Honest Face lotion.

Alba and her team, who launched the project in 2012, have now taken the case to court and asked a judge to make a ruling, according to TMZ.com. They reportedly claim buyers could not confuse the brand with Cosmedicine's product, which has not hit stores yet, because the packaging is very different and there is a big price gap.
