Jennifer Lopez's hit new TV show World Of Dance has been picked up for a second season.

The competition series, in which international dancers compete for a $1 million grand prize, launched earlier this month (Jun17) - and premiered with the most-watched alternative series debut in nine years.

J.Lo, who serves as an on camera judge and executive producer, says, "I am so proud to not only star, but produce a show that is so close to my heart.

"I am so happy that World of Dance has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC."

The show, which also features Ne-Yo and Derek Hough as judges and Jenna Dewan-Tatum as host, currently boasts 11 million viewers a week and it is the number one new series of the summer.
