Jason Derulo hit with lawsuit over damaged vehicle

Jason Derulo is being sued for allegedly trashing a hired vehicle.

Lonnie Reynolds of American Limo Services tells TMZ.com that the Talk Dirty singer and his friends hired a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van to transport them to and from a concert in Orange County, California in March (17).

The lawsuit reportedly alleges that Jason and his friends then used broken champagne flutes to stab seats and scratch windows as well as damage the van's stereo system.

Company executives are suing Jason for nearly $9,490 .

Lonnie also claims the musician demanded the van's driver pull up next to the front door of his home and was angered when the driver refused, due to the position of some trees.

Sources close to the 27-year-old singer told editors at the gossip site that he wasn't in the van on the night in question.

Jason is the only person named in the limousine company's lawsuit.
