JACOBS HONORED IN FRANCE

American fashion designer Marc Jacobs has been honored in France for his contribution to the fashion industry.

Jacobs, the creative director of French luxury label Louis Vuitton, will be named a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) at a ceremony in Paris on Friday (22Jan10).

The award coincides with Paris Fashion Week which started in the French capital on Thursday (21Jan10).
