Idris Elba splits from girlfriend - report

Actor Idris Elba has reportedly split from his girlfriend Naiyana Garth after three years of dating.

The British star recently moved out of the London home he shared with the make-up artist and their 22-month-old son Winston, and into a nearby apartment, according to U.K.'s The Sun newspaper.

"They've kept it very quiet," a source tells the publication. "It's very sad that this has happened while Idris is experiencing the highest points of his professional career and they can't celebrate it with each other."

Garth did not attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles with Elba last month (30Jan16), when he won two trophies for his roles in Beasts of No Nation and Luther. Instead, he was joined by his 13-year-old daughter Isan, his child with ex-wife Dormowa Sherman.
