Harry Styles and Liam Payne double date with fans

One Direction singers Harry Styles and Liam Payne treated two lucky fans to a double date after the girls won a contest to meet the stars.

On Tuesday night (18Mar14), the Story of My Life hitmakers made two devotees' dreams come true by having dinner with them at London's Soho Sanctum Hotel.

The double date was the grand prize for the Trekstock organisation's #HangWithLiamAndHarry campaign, which kicked off last summer (13).

Everyone who made a donation on the company's website were entered into a draw to win the date.

One Direction fans came out in droves, well surpassing the initial goal of $500,000 with a final total of $784,245 going to the charity, which funds research for young people with cancer.

Prior to the date, the girls were given $750 for a shopping spree on London's Carnaby Street and a makeover. The winners were also treated to a three-night stay at a luxury hotel.
