Gwyneth Paltrow unimpressed with Met Ball
Gwyneth Paltrow has risked the wrath of the organisers of the annual Costume Institute Gala after declaring this year's (13) glitzy event "too crowded and un-fun".
A host of A-list stars including Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna and Nicole Richie were guests at fashion's biggest night, also known as the Met Ball, but the Iron Man beauty admits the high-profile affair wasn't her idea of a good time.
She is quoted as telling USA Today, "I'm never going again. It was
so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it
at all."
Gwyneth Paltrow ended up on critics' worst dressed lists after
wearing a pretty pink Valentino Haute Couture gown to the
punk-themed event, but she has defended her outfit choice to Vogue
magazine, insisting, "I guess it's punk in that I've gone just
totally classic on a punk night."
