Gwen Stefani: 'Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams were there for me when I needed them'
Gwen Stefani has heaped praise on her new boyfriend Blake Shelton and their fellow The Voice judge Pharrell Williams for helping her through the pain of her marriage split.
In a new radio interview, which will air on Monday (09Nov15), the No Doubt singer told 103.7 KVIL's #Uncorked hosts Leigh Ann and Courtney she'll always be grateful for the two pals who helped pick her up after she announced her 13-year union with rocker Gavin Rossdale was over in August (15).
"There's been loads of people that have helped me with this
tragedy," Stefani says. "There's definitely key people that have
pointed me into the right direction. Blake really helped me... and
Pharrell was literally, like, a guardian angel."
Talking about her new boyfriend, giddy Gwen then added, "He's a
pretty rad guy, I have to say that."
The mother-of-three went public with her new romance earlier this
week (beg02Nov15) and she and Shelton were spotted holding hands at
a party following the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on
Wednesday night (04Nov15).
Her spokesperson confirmed the news, telling media outlets, "Gwen
and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started
dating."
A month before Gwen and Gavin announced their split, Blake and his
now-ex-wife Miranda Lambert shocked the music world by revealing
they were divorced.
