A man accused of harassing actress/singer Selena Gomez has pleaded not guilty to a charge of stalking.
Thomas Brodnicki, 46, allegedly told his psychiatrist he was going to kill Justin Bieber's girlfriend after having conversations with God about her. He then traveled from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles in a bid to meet the star.
The suspect, who has a history of stalking, appeared in Los Angeles
County Court on Thursday (03Nov11) to protest his innocence and he
was placed on $150,000 bail.
The judge also upgraded Gomez's temporary restraining order against
Brodnicki, demanding he stay away from the 19 year old and her
family and friends for three years.
Brodnicki is facing up to three years in prison if convicted of the
stalking charge.
