Gisele Bundchen's representative dismisses Cannes conference reports
A representative for supermodel Gisele Bundchen has dismissed rumours the Brazilian beauty pulled out of a planned appearance at a conference in Cannes, France at the last minute.
Reports suggested the catwalk star quit a panel event, titled A Conversation with Gisele Bundchen, at the Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity and jetted back to the U.S. to deal with family commitments.
Actor Rob Lowe was said to have been drafted in to replace the
model in the line-up after she pulled out.
However, a representative for Bundchen has now insisted the beauty
was never confirmed to appear at the event, telling the New York
Post's Page Six column, "Gisele is working in New York. I'm
thinking that they (festival organisers) probably printed materials
prior to getting a go-ahead from us and never took anything down.
I've never, never confirmed this opportunity."
Other stars to make appearances at the annual marketing conference
included Kanye West, Courtney Love, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jared
Leto and Mariah Carey.
