Flo Rida's manager ejected from basketball showdown for trash talking
Flo Rida's manager was ejected from Miami Heat's Eastern Conference Finals showdown with the Indiana Pacers on Monday night (03Jun13) following a heated encounter with basketball star Jeff Pendergraph.
With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Pacers player Pendergraph and Heat reserve Rashard Lewis were sent off by referee Ken Mauer after an on-court stand-off, prompting Flo Rida's manager Lee Prince, who was sitting courtside at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida to trash talk the visiting sportsman and his teammates.
The officials decided he was too much of a distraction and asked
him to leave. Prince protested, but the Low hitmaker intervened and
was overheard telling his handler, "You're my manager, but you've
got to get out of here now."
Flo Rida was caught on camera smiling as his manager was leaving
the arena.
He stayed until the end and watched his Heat team win the game and
move on to the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. The best
of seven series will begin on Thursday (06Jun13).
Also watching the big game were fellow Heat fans David Beckham and
Justin Bieber, who showed his support by wearing a team cap.
