Rapper Fetty Wap has revealed his leg was broken in three places in a motorcycle accident over the weekend (26-27Sep15).
The Trap Queen hitmaker was hospitalised after he collided with a vehicle in his native Paterson, New Jersey on Saturday (26Sep15).
According to reports, the hip-hop star, real name Willie Maxwell, was trying to overtake a car at the time of the incident.
In a photograph posted online, Wap is seen wearing a brace on his left leg, and he has now revealed the full extent of his injuries in an Instagram.com video.
He says, "I appreciate all my fans for praying for me man, know what I'm saying. I had a little accident... I broke my leg in three places but it'll be alright... I really appreciate y'all for real though."
In the caption, he wrote, "Appreciate ya (you) so much for the prayers... They told me don't make a video but I'm still breathing so I gotta let ya no (you know) I'll be back."
It is unclear if the rapper remains in hospital.
The 25 year old has been cited for three traffic violations from the accident including driving without a licence, not having insurance and failing to produce a vehicle registration card.
