Emma Watson is hoping to follow in the footsteps of her Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe by taking on a role in a musical stage show.
The British actress had to perform routines from famed musical The Rocky Horror Show for her new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower and she admits the work gave her a taste for singing and dancing.
She now hopes to land a musical theater role to put her new-found skills to the test, emulating Radcliffe, who honed his dance steps for a star turn in the Broadway production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.
Emma Watson tells British newspaper the Sunday Telegraph, "I love musical theater, so, I would love to do a musical soon, that would be wonderful... I was terrified of the Rocky Horror scenes, but, as it turned out, it was fun, and once I got over how weird it was to go from wearing knitted jumpers to corsets and fishnets, I got it together... (It has given me) a taste for cabaret and singing and dancing."
