Pop star Ed Sheeran's first racing experience ended with a scary crash when he recently took part in British TV show Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment.
The Lego House singer, who doesn't drive and doesn't have a license, became the first celebrity to get behind the wheel on the show's new season - and his speedy lap at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey, England didn't end well.
Sheeran flew off the track at high speed and steered the show's red Vauxhall into a field.
Prior to the shoot, Sheeran urged fans to think of him as he prepared for his taped appearance on Top Gear, tweeting, "I'm driving for the first time ever today, on a race track, on tv. Wish me luck."
Sheeran's driving exploits on Top Gear will air in Britain this weekend (25Jan15).
