Demi Lovato: 'Iggy Azalea's bachelorette party will not be a wild night'
Demi Lovato has warned fans of her pal Iggy Azalea not to expect tales of debauchery and craziness from the Australian star's upcoming bachelorette party, insisting it will probably consist of pizza and knitting.
The Black Widow rapper is planning her wedding after becoming engaged to basketball star Nick Young last month (Jun15), and she recently told late-night show host James Corden that neighbor Demi will be among her bridesmaids.
Lovato now reveals she's helping to organize Azalea's pre-ceremony,
all-girl get together, and she insists it won't be a wild
party.
She tells SiriusXM Hits 1's The Morning Mash Up, "The bachelorette
party will probably consist of pizza and knitting. I literally have
knitted with her but she didn't knit back. She was like, 'You have
to teach me'. That's how boring we are."
Lovato also revealed she and Iggy became good friends just before
Christmas last year (14) as they bonded over tinsel and festive
decorations.
She added, "Our first time hanging out, we went to (discount retail
store) Target and then we bought Christmas decorations and things
to make a gingerbread house with."
And the Skyscraper singer was with her new best pal when Young
proposed to the 25 year old.
Lovato recalled, "She was like, 'You're going to be a bridesmaid!'
I was like, 'Don't get my hopes up. I hope you're serious'."
Azalea has kept her word and the singer/actress will be one of four
friends helping the bride-to-be get extra Fancy on her big day.
