Soccer icon David Beckham's proudest moment came when he met Queen Elizabeth II.
The retired sportsman played in three prestigious World Cups for England, holds the record for the most number of appearances for his country, and has rubbed shoulders with presidents and world leaders during his illustrious career.
However, the patriotic Brit is adamant none of his headline-grabbing moments come close to meeting the monarch.
He tells The Sunday Times Style magazine, "She's the most amazing woman. I'm a real royalist. The fact that I've been able to go to Buckingham Palace and I've been able to meet the Queen, that's the best thing I've ever done. She's amazing."
