Miley Cyrus was admitted to hospital on Monday night (16Apr12) following a kitchen accident.
The pop star and actress cut herself with a knife while cooking, according to TMZ.com, and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth drove her to a San Fernando Valley hospital.
The couple was accompanied by Cyrus' mother and grandmother.
The Climb singer's representative has confirmed the news, stating,
"She had to get a few stitches."
