Cee Lo Green lands Christmas TV special

Cee Lo Green is hoping to take the late Andy Williams' place as the king of the Christmas TV special after enlisting Rod Stewart and The Muppets to join him for his first annual televised spectacular.

The Forget You singer will perform tracks from his new holiday album as part of a TV Guide festive special, Cee Lo's Magic Moment, on 30 November (12), and he has a few celebrity guests in store.

Green has also invited 19 of his former The Voice protegees to join him for a sing-along.

He says, "With a little help from my friends, I've created a classic holiday special that I'm thrilled for the world to watch, and I invite fans to tune in on November 30 to join me while we celebrate this magic moment of the year! I hope to make this an annual holiday special for families to look forward to each year."
