Bruno Mars will open this year's BET Awards on Sunday (25Jun17).
Host Leslie Jones tweeted the big news on Friday (23Jun17).
Bruno will join DJ Khaled, Big Sean, Future, Migos, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, A$AP Rocky, Gucci Mane, Khalid and SZA, who are also billed to perform at the prizegiving to be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
New Edition will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement prize at the big bash, while Chance the Rapper will be handed the Humanitarian Award.
Beyonce leads the nominees with seven nods. Mars has five.
