Bradley Cooper moving The Elephant Man to London
Bradley Cooper will make his West End debut in May (15) when his play The Elephant Man transfers from Broadway.
The American Sniper star will end his highly-successful run on the New York stage on 22 February (15), but will reprise his role as disfigured Englishman John Merrick when the production transfers to London in May (15).
The entire cast and crew, including co-stars Patricia Clarkson and
Alessandro Nivola, will also return for the West End show.
Cooper says, "Never did we think we would have the privilege to
perform this show on Broadway, let alone in London. I'm honoured
that Alessandro, Patricia, the entire company and I have the
opportunity to continue to tell his story."
The Elephant Man will run at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket from
19 May (15) to 8 August (15).
